In 2013 we were privileged to be part of the wider RAF commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Dams Raid.

We set off from RAF Scampton, heading for the Mohne Dam, under a flypast of 617 Squadrons Tornado GR4 aircraft!

At the Mohne Dam we joined with local riders on a biblically wet ride around the lake. The Dambusters riders then had the unique privilege of riding across the top of the Mohne Dam itself at midnight, exactly 70 years tot he hour since Wg Cdr Guy Gibson lead the Lancasters of 617 Sqdn into their attack.

£13,500 was raised for Help for Heroes and Motorcycle Outreach.
